Cloth Inserted Rubber is a rubber sheet material that has been reinforced with a type of cloth such as polyester, nylon, cotton or fiberglass fabric. This gives the rubber more reinforcement support and added stability in gasket applications requiring mechanical fastening and high compression. Cloth Inserted Neoprene Rubber is a blended Neoprene compound with one or more polyester fabric plies. Suitable for use where moderate oil resistance is required and where hot and cold water and gases are being conveyed. Cloth Inserted SBR Rubber is suitable for use in air, hot water, low pressure steam, hydraulic services, petroleum detergents and where heavy oil resistance is required.

“EPDM” sheet rubber is a versatile blended sheet composed of Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer and Styrene Butadiene Rubber. It creates an all-purpose, weather resistant rubber. For this reason, EPDM material is excellent for outdoor uses. The special properties of EPDM sheet rubber is excellent for chemical and weather resistance. This EPDM sheet rubber is commonly used in industrial applications and machinery that are exposed to the outdoor elements. Damage and exposure will occur at a slower rate when compared to other elastomers like SBR, Nitrile or Neoprene.

General Purpose Rubber It is an affordable, durable rubber sheet for use in everyday applications. The material is made using styrene butadiene rubber (SBR). This synthetic elastomer is known for its handling of physical abrasions and uses that require a little more strength and durability. This solid rubber material is well suited for use in residential, commercial, and industrial applications.

Neoprene rubber is a black colored rubber that is used in applications where moderate levels of oil, petroleum, ozone, and weathering-resistance are needed. Neoprene elastomers are very popular due to the broad range of applications in which they can be used. It can be considered as a good general purpose rubber with an excellent balance of physical and chemical properties. It has better chemical, oil, ozone and heat resistance than natural rubber but a rather lower level of physical properties. It’s gas permeability is fairly low and flame resistance is excellent. Neoprene are one of the few rubbers that are self-extinguishing. Neoprene gives excellent rubber-metal bonds and good resilience. Neoprene is mostly used because of its wide range of useful properties and reasonable price.

Nitrile rubber, also known as Buna-N, is a synthetic rubber copolymer of acrylonitrile (ACN) and butadiene. Nitrile is a form of synthetic rubber that is generally resistant to oil, fuel, and other chemicals (the more nitrile within the polymer, the higher the resistance to oils but the lower the flexibility of the material). It is used in the automotive and aeronautical industry to make fuel and oil handling hoses, seals, grommets, and self-sealing fuel tanks, since ordinary rubbers cannot be used. Nitrile’s ability to withstand a range of temperatures from −40 to 108 °C (−40 to 226 °F) makes it an ideal material for aeronautical applications. Nitrile is also used to create moulded goods, footwear, adhesives, sealants, sponges, expanded foams, and floor mats. Its resilience makes Nitrile a useful material for disposable lab, cleaning, and examination gloves. Nitrile rubber is more resistant than natural rubber to oils and acids, and has superior strength, but has inferior flexibility. Nitrile is therefore more puncture-resistant than natural rubbers, especially if.

Pure gum rubber is a natural rubber product free of synthetic compounds. Natural gum rubber will not leave any stains or marks wherever it is used. It is a soft and flexible rubber material that exhibits excellent elasticity while under stress with high rebound and flexibility characteristics. This flexible material can be stretched further than other elastomers while having a very high tensile strength. Natural gum rubber is eco-friendly because it is extracted from the latex of rubber trees. It does not contain any other blend of synthetic elastomers.

Since its debut nearly 80 years ago, silicone material has been a popular use in automotive, food handling, electronic, medical, and construction applications, among others. This is primarily because silicone rubber has a broad working temperature range that allows it to handle both high and low extreme temperatures. Silicone products also exhibit good levels of weather and chemical resistance, making them ideal for a host of outdoor and industrial uses. We offer a commercial grade silicone rubber which is the industry standard.
